Another patented Wellis invention you won’t find anywhere else. The 7” Infinity Jet rotates in a figure-of-8 as it functions – providing a sensational massage experience over a larger surface area.

Hot Tub diverter valves are used to redirect the jets of water into certain areas of the tub – providing a stronger or weaker massage as required.
Wellis have developed and patented the first electronic water diverter for the Life range (other brands and older models continue to use a manual valve). Combined with some clever pipework to take advantage of the electronic diverter, they’ve created a stronger massage effect from a single pump, meaning these hot tubs require fewer massage pumps to provide the same effect – greatly reducing energy consumption while using the jets.
Other benefits are less of a shock to your body when the jets are diverted or activated, as the speed of the water increases gradually. The massage experience is also more nuanced, with a pulsing function that is more akin to a traditional massage.

As one of the key factors in how energy-efficient a hot tub is, Wellis have given every Life hot tub their thickest 35mm polyfoam insulation.
By installing this into the frame itself, as opposed to being attached to the outer panels, they’ve improved efficiency by closing any potential gaps where heat could escape.
In the bottom tray, they’ve used the best insulator they could find – the air itself. By installing an ABS plastic sheet 30mm from the bottom of the hot tub, they’ve created an insulating pocket of air which stops heat escaping through the floor.

Comprising an Air-Source Heat Pump inside an aesthetically pleasing set of steps, the Smart-In Step system is a huge leap forward in hot tub energy efficiency, saving up to 75% on the energy costs of heating the hot tub.
Whilst heat pumps are becoming a more popular addition to modern hot tubs, displaying what is essentially a reverse air-conditioning unit in your garden isn’t the most attractive solution. Wellis are the first to store the heat pump away inside the steps, which also light up in unison with the hot tub’s mood lighting – so they look the part – and include useful storage compartments for all your chemicals, towels etc.
There is even a handy USB charger for your phone included.

A better self-cleaning system. With a newly designed circulation jet and multiple antimicrobial filters you can enjoy clearer water than ever before.
Thanks to this system, water is filtered more speedily leaving it cleaner for longer. The circulation jet is designed to stir up dirt and sand which can settle at the bottom of the hot tub (which is always annoying to see and feel) and feed it into the filters.

During development of the Life range, Wellis went back to basics and tested every type of disinfection solution. Discovering that Ozone was the most effective option, they then went about exploring how to make this even more efficient at killing bacteria whilst reducing the amount of chemicals required (saving customers money and giving you confidence in your water).
By mixing in chlorine and the right amount of pH they have created OzMix, which meets their goals and, when tested, performed better than any other disinfection system they had measured.
In fact compared to some solutions, the OzMix was twice as effective – removing 100% of the bacteria in 50% of the time.

Hot Tub water needs to be checked regularly to ensure it is chemically balanced and safe to use. Traditionally this has been a manual process using pH test strips and then working out which chemicals to add, which involves a bit of a learning curve and can be annoying when all you want to do is jump in your hot tub.
The WIS eliminates this entirely by providing 24-hour monitoring of your hot tub’s water and then advising you, via a smartphone app, exactly how much of which chemical to add in order to balance the water.
